Invitation Design
Aura BFA Senior Seminar
The invitation design for the 2023 BFA Graphic Design exhibition. I wanted to create an invitation that not only reflected the artistic nature of the event but also captured the attention of the recipient. I opted for a folded self-mailing invitation that focused on fluid organic shapes with a soft grain to add texture to the design, which helped to create a sense of depth and interest. The typography and linework were kept simple, complementing the graphics rather than overpowering them. This allowed the graphics to take center stage and create a visual impact. The use of white space was also key, as it provided breathing room for the text, making it easier to read and understand.
