America on Display is a powerful digital art piece that comprises three prints created in Photoshop. These prints aim to change our perception of what it means to be an American by offering a new perspective through reflection. I believe that by reshaping the way we see ourselves, we can create a better future for all Americans.
The three prints in America on Display depict three of the most significant activist movements in recent years - Protect Immigrant Families, Black Lives Matter, and Stop Asian Hate. Each print portrays the faces of individuals who have been impacted by these movements, emphasizing their humanity and the struggles they face.
The purpose of the artwork is to serve as a representation of minorities and to encourage others to empathize with their struggles and work toward change. These works serve the minority as a representation of those affected. those who cannot relate would be able to empathize with the fact, and they should push for change. A
grant-funded project created for the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights Initiative (PJHR).
